  1. Q. What is the difference between the various Editions of SwarMala?
    A. Please refer to the feature comparison table on
    download page.

  2. Q. What are the minimum system requirements for running TaalMala?
    A. Windows 2000/XP, 128 MB RAM, 50 MB hard disk space, sound card, speakers, MIDI port (only if you wish to use MIDI functionality of the SwarMala Composer). Your computer also needs to have the
    Visual Basic runtime libraries and DirectX installed.

  3. Q. Can I run SwarMala on a Mac?
    A. SwarMala is only supported on Windows platform. SwarMala may work on Mac running virtual PC. If the
    Trial Edition works on the virtual PC running on Mac, the licensed Editions (Classic/Professional) will most likely work. However, we cannot guarantee that it will work and do not provide any technical in case it does not work.

  4. Q. How do I buy SwarMala Classic and/or Professional Edition(s)?
    A. You need to pay the appropriate
    licensing fees. If you can pay in US dollars, you can complete the order online. If you cannot pay in US dollars or wish to avail the special promotional price for customers in Indian sub-continent, please complete the payment form.

  5. Q. How many computers can I install SwarMala on? Can I install SwarMala on multiple PCs?
    A. A single
    license of SwarMala allows you to install the software on a single computer. After installation, you are required to register the software via a machine-dependent (hard-disk dependent) software code/registration key combination. Each computer (with differnet disk) will need a unique registration key to unlock the software.

    To install SwarMala on multiple computers, you need to buy multiple licenses, which are available at a discounted price.

  6. Q. Do you provide any discount for buying multiple licenses (volume licensing)?
    A. Yes. We provide discounts for multiple licenses. Please refer to the
    licensing page page for more details on multiple individual licenses and/or reseller/volume licenses.

  7. Q. I already paid for the SwarMala software. When will I receive my installation password/registration key?
    A. If you completed your order online, it takes us 24-36 hours to process your payment (barring holidays and weekends).

    Alternatively, if you paid via a cheque/bank draft/money order, we send you the installation password/registration key within 36 hours from the time we receive your cheque/bank draft/money order.

  8. Q. I am an existing customer of TaalMala. Can I upgrade to SwarMala?
    A. All existing licensed customers of TaalMala are eligible to get a discount while purchasing SwarMala. You can find the details on licensing page.

  9. Q. Can I re-install the trial Edition of SwarMala software?
    A. You cannot re-install the trial Edition of SwarMala on the same computer again, if the trial period (14 days) has already expired. You can, however, install SwarMala on a different computer and use it for up to 14 days. If you wish to continue using the software beyond the trial period of 14 days, you must purchase a
    license.

  10. Q. I live in the Indian sub-continent and wish to pay for SwarMala in Indian rupees. How can I do this?
    A. To be eligible for
    special pricing in Indian rupees, you must fulfil all conditions listed on licensing page. If you meet all these conditions, please complete the payment form. You will receive instructions via email on how to send the payment. Due to an already discounted price of the software in Indian rupees, we only accept money orders, bank demand drafts (DD) or cheque as form of payment in Indian rupees.

  11. Q. I do not live in Indian sub-continent, but can pay in Indian rupees. Can I get the special pricing?
    A. No. You must be a resident of one of the countries in the Indian sub-continent to be eligible for
    special pricing in Indian rupees. These countries include India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan and Sri Lanka. In addition, you must meet the criteria listed on the licensing page.

  12. Q. Does SwarMala.com provide installation CDs for SwarMala software?
    A. Yes. We provide installation CDs to our customers for an additional charge. To order SwarMala on CD, use the appropriate links on the
    "Buy Now" page and specify the installation CD option when completing the payment.

  13. Q. I lost the original installation package for SwarMala and/or I lost my installation password/registration key. Can you provide a substitute password/registration key?
    A. As stated in the license agreement of SwarMala software, we decide on a case-by-case basis whether to provide a substitute password/registration key for SwarMala. This means that we may decide (at our sole discretion) not to provide the substitute password/registration key. Therefore it is in your best interest that you keep a backup copy of the software on a set of floppy disks or on a CD (if you have acces to a CD writer).

  14. Q. Will I be charged any fees when paying for SwarMala using Paypal?
    A. We are not aware of any transaction fees or additional charges paypal.com charges to you if you pay for SwarMala software using their payment processing service. However, you should completely read the terms and conditions when you complete your transactions via paypal.com. Please note that paypal.com is a third-party payment processing company, and is not associated with SwarMala.com. SwarMala.com simply uses their credit card payment processing services. If you have any unresolved issues with paypal.com, we recommend that you contact their customer service directly. If they do not respond to you, you can write to us and we will try to contact them. However, we are not liable for any charges from paypal.com except the SwarMala licensing fees that you may have paid to us via paypal.com.
